SD IT Analyst

 Job requirements

   Responsible for SBU alignment meetings, understand and manage cross-applications requirements including interfaces (EDI & Web), provide direction to the team, vendor management, conduct software assessment and strategy sessions, manage KPI's, oversee overall work quality, associate performance reviews (full-time and consultants) and act as senior SAP SD Solutions Architect.  Be part of M&A and Lead/PM SAP Order-to-cash implementations and continue to manage routine SD operations (Staffing, Capacity Planning, best business practices & SAP solutions).

    Work closely with all business units (SBU's), associates world-wide (managers, associates, developers including Littelfuse business contacts) facilitate requirements gathering, design specs, effort estimates, process demos, testing and user acceptance.  Also responsible for staffing, work assignments (capacity planning), work quality, adhere to PMO guidelines to support IT strategy and key business initiatives.

 

  • A functional/technical professional with at least 4+ full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation and 8+ years of industry or consulting experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience implementing SAP SD
  • Experience in designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for company as part of a high-talent team.
  • Skilled as a team lead or Project Manager on at least 3+ full cycle implementations.
  • A resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Able to collaborate with customers (internal and external), strong communication and project management skills and have a strong desire to excel.
  • Strong configuration and design skills (SAP & Interfaces 鈥淓DI, Web, 3rd party)

Job responsibilities

         Manage IT SD staff (on-site & off-shore) and responsible for all SAP (SD Module) and OTC Process related support, enhancements. Ensure quality of work and adherence to SAP Change Management/PMO guidelines by all team members supporting OTC functions.

         Lead SAP projects with SD focus as a lead Architect; lead work prioritization with business and establish on-going communication on status report to IT Management; where nominated by IT Management, act as a Project Manager/Lead, set guidelines to the team members working on the project and take full ownership to complete the project from start to finish.  Thorough knowledge in Order configuration, Scheduling Agreements, Pricing schema design, 3rd party tools (EDI, Web) interface with SAP, delivery and invoice outputs, SAP technical structure (tables, programs, user-exits, etc.).

         Conduct and lead IT/SBU Alignment meetings; configure in the SAP SD and integration touch points with other SAP modules; and implement custom Business Processes that require SAP system enhancements across SD and Cross Functional areas.

         Understand SBU/Corporate Strategy and help supervisor to come up with work load/projects forecast (Staffing, Capacity Planning and Software Evaluation) to support business needs.

         Identify knowledge gaps and come up with development plans for the team members and ensure adequate training plans in place.  Help with bench-mark and networking assignments with like companies.  

         Assist supervisor with hiring (full-time/consultants) technical staff.

         Develop SD Activity/Training Manual.

         Responsible for User-ID's and Business Systems access set-up.

         Review contract administration documents

         Review and approve consulting time sheets and invoices for payment.

         Advise staffing needs, work quality and pro-active internal and external communication.

         Act as back-up to any team member (technical associate)
